Yewande Zaccheaus

Yewande graduated from University of Lagos in 1982 with a Bachelor's degree in Law. She obtained an LL.M from Cambridge University in 1984.

Yewande began her career in 1984 as a legal officer in the Nigerian American Merchant Bank. Thereafter, she had a brief stint in private legal practice with the firm of R.I. Kuku & Co.

In 1989, Yewande joined Ecobank Nigeria Plc as the pioneer Company Secretary and Legal Adviser. During her 13 years with the bank, she supervised various units including legal, corporate affairs, credit administration, remedial and human resources. She moved into mainstream banking in 2000 as head of the bank's private banking unit.

In pursuit of her dream of becoming an entrepreneur, Yewande resigned from Ecobank in 2002 to establish Eventful Ltd, an events management company.  

She is also a Director at Zacchi & Krome Ltd, Corporate Leisure Ltd and Fortress Microfinance Bank. Yewande is married to Teni and they have two children.
