Ibukunoluwa Awosika is the Founder of The Chair Centre Ltd, a market leader in the office furniture and banking security systems industry. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Sokoa Chair Centre, a joint venture project of Sokoa SA France.
A graduate of Chemistry from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ibukun started her working career with the firm of Akintola Williams as an audit trainee. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Alibert Nigeria Ltd, a furniture company as Showroom Manager for a brief period. It was from here that she launched out to fulfill her entrepreneurial leanings by establishing Quebees Ltd, a furniture manufacturing company, from which The Chair Centre Ltd evolved. In response to the changes in government policy, she then went forward to set up the Sokoa Chair Centre which is the first international office seating company in Nigeria.
Ibukunoluwa is also the Founder of The Christian Missionary Fund, a ministry which provides funding for missionaries in Nigeria.
She is an alumnus of the Chief Executive Programme (CEP) of Lagos Business School. She is married to Abiodun Oludola Awosika, and they are blessed with three sons.
