Yemisi is currently the Executive Secretary of Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ). Based in Lagos, Nigeria, she has, since June 2005, been running the day to day affairs of WIMBIZ programmes and operations.She is responsible for driving and implementing the decisions of the Board of Trustees.

Prior to joining WIMBIZ, Yemisi had worked in various capacities gaining experience in hospitality, marketing, business and service strategy, training and management consultancy. A 1988 graduate from the University of Lagos with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science, she is a Certified Facilitator/Trainer. She has also participated in nonprofit executive education programmes at Harvard Business School and the Kennedy School of Government.

She is married to Olumuyiwa Kayode Ikuomola and they are blessed with two children, Oluwatoyin and Oluwatobi. Her current personal interests include social entrepreneurship and reading.
