WIMBIZ Career Forum for UNILAG Students

WOMEN in Management and Business (WIMBIZ), an NGO with a vision to be the catalyst elevating the profile and influence of women in management and business, Friday, held a career counselling and development forum for the female students of University of Lagos.

The event was aimed at helping the participants handle current challenges and preparing them for workplace issues that lay ahead of them so they can cope and win without compromising their values.  There was also a career and job placement assistance desk at the forum.

According to the organizations public affairs officer, Yemisi Ikuomola, WIMBIZ network of programmes will challenge participants at an interactive session to unveil and attempt to resolve their real issues. The topical areas covered relationships and networking, career, finances and societal/ peer pressure.
